Apple Pay

Walley Checkout supports Apple Pay as a payment method. To enable Apple Pay, you need to upload a domain verification file and then contact Walley for activation.

Domain Verification​

To use Apple Pay on the web, you must verify your domain with Apple. This involves downloading a verification file from the Apple Developer portal and hosting it on your website.

This action is not required if you are using Walley Pay Link.

This file must be accessible at the following URL: https://yourdomain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.

Steps to verify your domain​

  1. Download our domain verification file Download our domain verification file.
  2. Upload the downloaded file to the .well-known directory on your web server.
  3. Ensure the file is publicly accessible by visiting https://yourdomain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association in your web browser.
  4. Contact Walley support for activation

Important Notes​

  • Ensure that your website is served over HTTPS, as Apple Pay requires a secure connection.
  • The verification file must remain accessible on your server as long as you want to accept Apple Pay payments.
  • If you change your domain or hosting provider, you may need to repeat the verification process.
  • If you encounter issues during the verification process, double-check the file's URL and ensure it is correctly placed in the .well-known directory.
